SAVE THE PLANET
Global Warming will Affect the Economy
Cost of Damages
Damage from sea level rise, floods, droughts, extreme storms, etc., cost money to the government when they have to repair infrastructure.
In the past few years the U.S has spent hundreds of billions of dollars on natural disaster expenses and the prices will not be any lower for global warming affects. The longer we wait to take action the higher the price.
Lost Productivity
Effects from global warming will affect daily life routines. Schools and businesses will be interrupted leading to a loss in productivity. Effects such as increase temperatures could delay any work that's done outside and increased pollutants can curtail school and work days.
Coping Cost
Global warming comes with a high price and its coping price is beyond measures. Many say that the cost to cope with global warming will only increase as time goes on and global warming effects get worse and worse. A report done by The Copenhagen Consensus says that though we benefit from the effects of global warming; CO2 fertilizing plants and less cold related deaths, warmer temperature effects are beginning to outway the affects of colder weather.
